Inside a Coreform assessment
Every engagement starts with a paid assessment. What happens during it, and what you walk away with.
People ask me what the assessment actually is, usually right after I tell them it is paid. Fair question.
The short version: our engineers sit with your team, map every process and show you where the hours go. You walk away with a clear plan for what to hand to agents first. Here is the longer version.
Why it starts here
We could skip it and start building, and plenty of people would like us to. The problem is that nobody inside a company has the full picture of how the work moves. The operations lead knows their part, finance knows theirs, and the steps in between live in inboxes and spreadsheets. Build on top of a guess and the agent ends up on the wrong job.
So before anything gets built, we look.
What happens
- We sit with the people who do the work. Our engineers come on site and follow a job from the moment it arrives to the moment it is done, in the tools your team already uses.
- We follow the work across teams. Our mapping agents read your systems and trace how the work moves between them, including the hand-offs nobody thinks to mention.
- We mark where the hours go. Every job gets a place on the map, with how often it happens and how long it takes each time.
- We pick the order. The jobs in the top corner of Frequency × Effort go first, and for each one we agree where a person stays in the loop.
We ask a lot of questions, but mostly we look at the real thing: the inbox, the spreadsheet, the system someone copies numbers into. How a process is written down and how it actually runs are often two different stories.
What you walk away with
A clear plan for what to hand to agents first. Concretely, that is the map of how your company really works, the jobs ranked by where the hours go, and for the first ones, what the agent would do and where it hands over to one of your people.
It is a plan you can act on. Most of the time the next step is to install the Coreform OS with us and put agents on one process at a time, starting from the top of that list.
What it costs
Honest answer: it depends on the size of your company and what we are looking at, so we do not do one price fits all. One of our founders can give you a real figure for yours on a call.
We charge for it because it is real work. Engineers on site, time with your team, and a plan written for your company and nobody else.
After the assessment
The order is always the same. Assessment first, then the Coreform OS with the Company Brain, then agents one process at a time, then a monthly plan where we keep everything running and ship the next agent where it saves the most time.
How long each step takes depends on your company, and I would rather give you a realistic timeline on a call than a nice number here.
